Knock Knees – A Brief Introduction

Knock knees are a developmental defect in which both knees of the person touch while standing or walking but the ankles stay apart. The condition can also occur because of a disease, infection, or traumatic injury.

If we talk about the occurrence of this condition, then is common or we must say normal in growing children between 3 and 6 years of age. This is the developmental phase and by the age of 7, knock knees improve. Now, if the condition does not improve even after 6, it is called knock-knees syndrome.
